Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sheep Patrol handles information when you use the Sheep Patrol mobile game. Sheep Patrol is designed as a simple iOS game with standard gameplay, saved progress, Game Center leaderboards, and optional in-app purchases for coins.
Summary
Sheep Patrol does not use third-party advertising, RevenueCat, Mixpanel, or third-party analytics at this time. We do not sell personal information. We do not operate our own user account system or gameplay server.
Information We Handle
Sheep Patrol may store the following information locally on your device:
- Game progress, including unlocked level, current saved game, lives, sheep positions, active powerups, and level state.
- Game settings, including sound, music, and haptics preferences.
- Coin balance and powerup-related state.
Coins are stored using the iOS Keychain through the app's keychain service. Some saved game and settings information is stored using iOS UserDefaults. This information is used only to operate the game, restore your progress, and provide the features you choose to use.
Information We Do Not Collect
Sheep Patrol does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, microphone data, precise location, or health information. The app does not include social messaging, user-generated public content, or account registration.
In-App Purchases
Sheep Patrol offers optional consumable in-app purchases for coin packs. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card number, billing address, Apple Account password, or other payment credentials.
The app may receive purchase confirmation information from Apple's StoreKit framework, such as whether a purchase succeeded and which product was purchased, so that the purchased coins can be added to your in-game balance.
Game Center
Sheep Patrol supports Apple Game Center leaderboards. If you choose to use Game Center or are signed in to Game Center on your device, Apple may process your Game Center player information, leaderboard score, and related Game Center activity under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
Sheep Patrol submits your highest unlocked level to the Game Center leaderboard. We do not operate a separate leaderboard server.
Ads and Analytics
Sheep Patrol does not currently show advertisements and does not currently use ad networks. Sheep Patrol also does not currently use RevenueCat, Mixpanel, or third-party analytics SDKs.
How Information Is Used
Information handled by the app is used to:
- Save and continue your game.
- Track unlocked levels, lives, coins, and powerups.
- Apply settings such as sound, music, and haptics.
- Process optional coin purchases through Apple's in-app purchase system.
- Submit your highest unlocked level to Apple Game Center if Game Center is available and authenticated.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers or third-party analytics providers because the app does not currently use those services.
Apple may process information related to App Store purchases, Game Center, crash reports, diagnostics, and other Apple services according to Apple's own policies and your device settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local game progress and settings remain on your device until you reset progress, delete the app data through device controls, or uninstall the app. Some Keychain data may persist after uninstalling and reinstalling the app depending on iOS behavior.
You can reset your game progress from within the app where reset or new-game controls are available. You can also remove local app data by deleting the app from your device. Game Center data is managed through Apple Game Center and your Apple Account settings.
Children's Privacy
Sheep Patrol is a general audience game and is not intended to collect personal information from children. The app does not include our own account registration, chat, or behavioral advertising. Parents or guardians can use Apple Screen Time, purchase controls, and App Store settings to manage in-app purchases and Game Center access.
Security
Sheep Patrol uses standard iOS storage mechanisms, including UserDefaults and Keychain, for local game data. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but the app is designed to limit the information it stores and to avoid collecting unnecessary personal information.
International Use
If you use Sheep Patrol outside the United States, your use of Apple services such as the App Store and Game Center may be governed by Apple terms and privacy practices that apply in your country or region.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes, including if ads, analytics, new online features, or additional purchase systems are added in the future. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated when changes are made.
